SNORKELING

Snorkelling in Pemuteran offers much more than a chance to view fish species and corals: you can witness a rare example in which the interaction between humans and nature can create positive outcomes for both. A visit to Pemuteran and Menjangan National Park cannot be complete without having a look at these amazing Biorock® structures.

DIVING

For people who love to spend time underwater, options are plenty and exceptional. Divers can choose from the island of Menjagan (Deer Island- part of the protected West National Park), to the waters of the Pemuteran Bay.
The waters in Pemuteran Bay are home to an important coral conservation project started by the initiative and cooperation of many local participants. For non-divers, the shallow waters and low currents of the calm North Bali Sea, make it suitable for families and elderly people to enjoy amateur diving, snorkeling and enjoy the sandy beaches under the shade of big trees.

DOLPHIN TO LOVINA

Dolphin Trips - These trips leave early each morning and are great fun for the kids, despite the critiscism that the boats tend to outnumber the dolphins. Snorkeling is possible on the reef just offshore from Kalibukbuk in the mornings around 10am. You will need to hire a boat. Snorkeling and scuba diving trips leave from Kalibukbuk for Menjangan and other north shore dive spots. There are several dive operators based out of Lovina that operate daily dive trips to Menjangan Island, Tulamben and Amed, as well as night dives from the local shore.

TREKKING TO NATIONAL PARK

West Bali National Park consists of primary monsoon forest, mangrove forest, lowland rain forest, savanna and sea grass vegetation types. Only with designated head guides, the Park is suitable for walking and trekking and is an educational excursion for the young.
